Knowledge Workshops Evoke Management | Purpose, People, Profit: The Value Creation Cycle "Purpose | People | Profit - The Value Creation Cycle," argues that prioritising purpose and people is the key to long-term value creation and profitability. Drawing inspiration from business leaders like Richard Branson and Steve Jobs, the presentation posits that profit is a natural outcome of creating great products and treating both employees and customers exceptionally well. The core message emphasises that understanding, inspiring and exciting the people both within and outside an organisation are fundamental to achieving sustainable growth. Evoke Management | Client Retention Strategies - why losing clients is expensive and client retention is important Many businesses, particularly fast-growing SME’s, are focused on client acquisition to drive the business forward. Whilst this is important, retaining high-value existing clients is often more so. Identifying and anticipating clients’ individual requirements is crucial to client retention, but frequently overlooked. Indeed, many companies don’t even have a client-retention strategy. In this talk, we’ll explore why client-retention is important, what are some of the pitfalls for service businesses, and how you can start thinking strategically about client retention, and finally, we’ll give you an overview of proven processes that you can put in place to improve your client retention.
Evoke Management | Aligning Purpose, People & Profit Employee Engagement is the new big problem, but it isn’t really a new problem, it’s just a rebrand of a very old one. The employee / employer relationship has fundamental rules that mean it will always be in a delicate balance and have conflicting objectives - this is universal, and when this is imbalanced you either have a failing business or a disengaged workforce. Gurus the world over will tell you that the solution to disengagement is better salaries, better work-life balance, better ping-pong paddles, or better whatever they happen to be selling that month. But the truth is, most of these things are true somewhere, and to someone, and to some extent. The difficulty, as a business leader, is knowing which one is relevant to your people at any given moment. This talk explains how to get that information, and why most companies have failed so far (average engaged employee rate is only 11%).
